Honey is one of the most valuable, nutritious and healthiest foods. It gives energy to the muscles and clarity to the mind therefore it is considered one of the most important foods for children. But what to do when the child does not want to eat honey?
I hear this very often from my friends and mom clients I meet. There is no reason to worry because honey in particular can be consumed in many different ways.
A child may not eat a slice of bread with honey, but he can very easily eat one fruit salad with strawberry, banana, pear and apple. If we add some honey sprinkled with cinnamon, I'm sure he will eat it with pleasure!
My daughter does not eat egg easily. Trying to find a way to eat it I discovered a delicious and incredibly healthy recipe for eggnogs and of course I didn't miss my favorite honey. You can try it yourself!
Another way to consume honey is inside cereal bars with tahini that you'll make together and keep in the fridge for a quick and easy afternoon snack. The combination of tahini and honey could be considered a superfood by itself!
But also like one healthy and delicious breakfast it can be very well combined with yogurt, cereals, pollen and nuts. Try it and you will remember me!
So, without stress, we can offer them a variety of healthy snacks with honey and let them choose.
Good luck
