Mojito with flower honey!

In the summer I love to invite friends over. Let's get together around eight in the evening when that cool air starts blowing and you don't need an umbrella to protect yourself from the hot summer sun. Balcony, music, good company, homemade cake with freshly squeezed juices and children playing happily and carefree in the yard.
And as for us adults, beers, laughs, snacks and of course various cocktails!!! Why is summer without cocktails possible? It's not possible... But I don't want to spoil my friend's diet either, so I thought of our favorite mojito but not with sugar.......but with Honey !!
Materials
  • 1 scoop of white rum (about 25 ml)
  • 1 lime, thickly sliced
  • 1 - 2 tbsp flower honey
  • 6 to 8 freshly cut mint leaves from your pot
  • soda and crushed ice
    Implementation
Put the honey and 3 lime slices in a tall glass with a wide mouth. Add 1 tablespoon of the rum and with a pestle or even a spoon, press the lime slices so that they release their juice and the honey melts. Add the mint leaves and press a little longer to release their aromas. The aroma of honey in combination with mint leaves will give you an explosive, tasty result. Then add half way up the glass with crushed ice and rum. Stir with a straw and top up with soda. Garnish with a slice of lime and a small sprig of mint.
    Advice
    • To make the honey melt more easily, add a tablespoon of warm water instead of rum.
    • To make your cocktail cooler, put the glasses in the fridge beforehand.
    • And don't forget the mosquito repellents for the children and even from an early age...!!!
Have a beautiful and carefree summer!!!
